                   AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 6958, AS
                   AMENDED, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE, SO AS TO
                   REZONE A TRACT OF LAND LOCATED AT 1450 VANCE ROAD,
                   BEING ON THE NORTHEAST LINE OF VANCE ROAD AT VAN
                   NESS ROAD FROM R-3 RESIDENTIAL ZONE TO O-1 SPECIAL
                   ZONE, SUBJECT TO CERTAIN CONDITIONS.

              	   SECTION 1.  BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
         CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That Ordinance No. 6958, as
         amended, known as the Zoning Ordinance, be and the same is 
hereby
         amended so as to rezone:
               
                A tract of land located at 1450 Vance Road, being
                on the northeast line of Vance Road at Van Ness
                Road.  Lot 14 and the northeast 50 feet of lot 13,
                block E, J.H. Street Subdivision, as shown by plat
                of record in plat book 13, page 28 and 29, ROHC;
                being the property described as Tract Three in deed
                book 2450, page 681, ROHC.  Tax Map No. 158B-F-10.
               
               
         from R-3 Residential Zone to O-1 Special Zone.
              	  
              SECTION 2.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this rezoning 
shall
         be subject to the following conditions:

              1.   Subject to a 6 foot wooden sight-obscuring fence 
along
                   any R-1 zone.
        
              2.   All existing easements are retained.
        
        
              	   SECTION 3.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this 
Ordinance
         shall take effect two weeks from and after its passage, as
         provided by law.
